" Happiness is like a butterfly. The more you chase it, the more it will elude you. But if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder."
Stars, flowers, puppies, unicorns, chocolates, glitter and butterflies are some of our favorite things, aren't they? Well, we've seen butterflies everywhere from being added as a decorative piece to a print on a tee.
I bet at some point in your life you've worn that dress with a super cute butterfly print all over.
Butterfly prints are now passe, watch what these awesome designers did to include the "butterfly," in their gowns. You'll be awestruck for sure!
1. Luly Yang
An established couture designer; she made her debut into the fashion world with this very dress; the "butterfly" dress. It has been talked about in papers, media and the fashion world. It was fashioned to look like a butterfly. And it doesn't stop at this. She continued to design similar butterfly pieces in stunning colors. Have a look below.

2. Agne Kuzmickaite
Lithuanian designer Agne Kuzmickaite designs were noticed by Lady Gaga's stylist Brandon Maxwell and as luck would have it we spotted Agne's creation on the music sensation Gaga earlier this year. The dress which she sported quickly became the talk of the fashion world and very quickly you could spot many more people donning a similar one. Personally, we adore this minimalistic yet every bit gorgeous dress. The dress includes three dimensional butterfly patterns all over the tulle gown.

3.Arnold Scaasi
This beautiful dress by Arnold Scaasi was displayed at the Metropoliton Museum of art.
It is called as the "the Butterfly garden," and it coudn't have been more true.
It has 3 dimensional flowers and butterflies fashioned out of fabric strategically placed all over the bust and the border of the skirt. The gold detailed polka dots add a vintage charm to this stunner.

4. Elie Saab
The masters of couture and the makers of magical gowns bowled over the entire fashion world with stunning pieces inspired by nature. The most talked about one being the one inspired by butterflies. The beautiful pastel gowns have stunning detailing of organza butterflies all over them. This tops my list of favourites and was also spotted on the red carpets.

5. Marchesa
Top label Marchesa got inspired with "Madame Butterfly" and launched their range of butterfly inspired couture wear. Take a look at this splendid peplum style, butterfly inspired gown. The black quilling style detailing over the ivory color is as beautiful as it can get.

6. Elie Saab (yes, again!)
Elie Saab has a knack for winning us over time and again. This time with this beautiful cocktail dress from the same butterfly inspired range of their Spring/summer 2015 collection.
The colors, styling and flow take us right back to mother nature, don't they?

7. Roberto Cavalli
Undoubtedly, one of the only design houses which can come up with a Jumpsuit inspired by a butterfly!
We coudn't be more pleasantly surprised.
When the whole world imagines a gown when thinking of a butterfly, they went ahead and changed the rules.
The result- Amazing! The jumpsuit's sleeves and flowy silhouette compliment a butterflies fluidic structure and the print seamlessly represents a butterfly.
It packs the butterfly in a chic and edgy look.

Well, there are many more desginers whose butterfly inspired outfits are out-of-this-world. But we picked the one's with an X-factor. Hope you loved them all.
P.S .Did you know- Butterfly is actually a grammatical error by humans? In old english times the winged creature was actually called a Flutterby which actually makes sense.
Much love,
